Record everything! Progressing is all about looking back and if you don't record, your customers, your sales, your expenses, you have little to analyze
Riva: Hey Emma & Ofer. What are you up to these days?
Emma&Ofer: We're at a fun part of our business growth. After a few years of exploring the market and ourselves, we are narrowing and deepening our focus and are about to launch our first official furniture design catalogue.
Riva: How do you combine between design and business?
Emma&Ofer: Small business owners don't have much of a choice to separate the two. Luckily, Emma's background, both professionally and educationally is in business and Ofer's is in design. We believe both aspects have equal value and therefore give each the balanced attention.
Riva: Can you share insights or tips from your business experience?
Emma&Ofer: Record everything! Progressing is all about looking back and if you don't record, your customers, your sales, your expenses, you have little to analyze.
Riva: Is there any business moves that you especially proud of?
Emma&Ofer: When we met, we have 2 small and young businesses. It was obvious from the beginning that a young couple with 2 young businesses would never see each other. So we combined forces and integrated our businesses together under one roof, one business plan, one brand. In that moment, our fixed expenses were reduced drastically.
Riva: Would you do anything differently today in business?
Emma&Ofer: More contracts 🙂
Riva: Can you share with us a useful link to an interview / application / tool or a story?
Emma&Ofer: VSCO photo editing app.
documenting our process, products and atmosphere is important for marketing purposes as well as to show off how much for we have 🙂
with all the impressive editing softwares out there, there are no excuses for bad pictures.
we dedicate a significant amount of time to taking pictures and editing them and we love using VSCO cam to help.
